Wabi Sabi art workshop – in-person outdoors
Welcome to the world of the Japanese aesthetic of wabi sabi.
We will create insightful pieces of wabi sabi art, as we loose ourselves in the philosophy of seeing the Perfection in the Imperfection
From the wabi sabi tradition, we will use gifts from nature — fallen leaves, bamboo, worn river rocks, natural jute, playful rice paper. If you wish, you can bring something personal or meaningful, perhaps a special found object, to integrate into your artwork.
This class will be held in the back sculpture garden. Please dress accordingly.
Participants must be fully vaccinated.
