Inaugural performances of the San Rafael branch of School of Rock
School of Rock San Rafael opened in early May 2022. We are extremely proud and excited to be performing our very first shows at Sweetwater Music Hall.
School of Rock is a performance based music school combining one-on-one lessons with group rehearsals and presenting live shows three times a year.
Our students (both kids and adults) range from complete beginners to experienced musicians who come to us to further hone their skills. Our instructors are professional musicians and exceptional teachers who love what they do.
Each of our shows will feature performances from several Rock 101 bands, two Performance Program bands, and two Adult Performance Program bands.
Everyone is welcome to these inaugural shows to enjoy the performances and cheer on our hardworking bands.

There is ample street and city parking available around the venue. Please be sure to observe all posted signs regarding parking and parking meters, and do not park in prohibited spaces or areas. As a courtesy to our neighbors, please park in metered spots and city lots rather than residential areas. We offer validation for the Sunnyside lot–ask for it at the Cafe register.
