ÆRENA Galleries and Gardens invites you to celebrate Country Roads, an exhibition featuring the painted works of Michelle Andres and Josh Brown. These two artists come together to create a mystical world with familiar landscapes and whimsical wildlife.

Michelle Andres takes a subtle and minimalistic approach to her landscape paintings, that transports us to the countryside which creates a sense of place and comfort. Every landscape represented by Andres has a special mystery that leaves the viewer wondering what is around the next corner, behind the next hill, or around the next tree. The rural atmosphere gives the works a brilliant air of discovery, leading you through the dream-like world that Andres lays out before you, leaving the viewer with a feeling of contentment and serenity.

The works of Josh Brown bring a unique personality full of love and affection to each one of his animals. These wondrous paintings give a life to the animals we live with every day, shown in a way that illuminates and delights with each viewing. Each special creature has an individuality that gives the feeling of bringing new friends into your home.
