Garvey|Simon is pleased to announce the opening of their newest exhibition, Assembly Required, in San Anselmo, California. This show features eight artists who transform quotidian artifacts into beguiling assemblages.

The works feature materials from safety pins and guitar strings to textiles and playing cards. Armed with various materials, each artist transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Artists included are Ray Beldner, Joe Brainard, Joan Grubin, Tamiko Kawata, Linda Schmidt, Sharon Shapiro, Donna Sharrett and William Wegman.
