Students will learn what it really takes to be an actor; they will learn theatre etiquette, character development, voice and diction, objectives & obstacles, and develop a working knowledge of basic acting theory and terminology.

This is an eight (8) week course, meeting once each week for one and a half hours. Over the course of the 8 weeks, students will begin learning what it really takes to be an actor; they will learn theatre etiquette, character development, voice and diction, objectives & obstacles, and develop a working knowledge of basic acting theory and terminology. The class will culminate in a final sharing of the material the students have been working on in the course.

Please arrive at the theater early enough to give yourself ample time to find parking.
Parking lots are conveniently located adjacent to the theater, but DO NOT park in front of an open business, especially in the Eggers Plaza parking lot behind the theater, as your car may be towed. Parking along creek in the Eggers Plaza parking lot is allowed.
If these lots are full, free street parking is available on Miller Avenue and on the neighborhood streets around the theater. We recommend that you arrive at the theater at least a half hour prior to curtain.
Please be aware: Cars parked in front of open businesses may be towed.
