Bill Kirchen is a founding father of Commander Cody, and his diesel-fueled licks drove Hot Rod Lincoln into the Top 10 nationwide. A Grammy nominee for Best Country Instrumental in 2001, he has recorded with Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, Nick Lowe, Dan Hicks, Maria Muldaur, Hoyt Axton, Hazel Dickens, Gene Vincent, and Link Wray. His latest disc, Transatlanticana, cracked the Americana Radio Chart Top 10 in 2018.

Redd Volkaert spent many years as the lead guitarist for the mighty Merle Haggard, and has played and recorded with a who’s who of greats, from Dale Watson to Brad Paisley to Billy Gibbons. He owns a Grammy for Best Instrumental in 2009.
