Join us for a book launch and slide show celebrating the release of Marin Poet Laureate Albert Flynn DeSilver's new book Singletrack Mind: Finding Wisdom & the Poetry of Life on Two Wheels, featuring photographs by world-renown adventure photographer Mattias Fredriksson.

The book is a collection of essays on the spirit of mountain biking in wild places including a piece on the Point Reyes peninsula, which Albert published in Adventure Journal magazine after doing a 43 mile ride in his local bioregion. Some of the essays  are written as Haibun, a traditional Japanese style that integrates poetry and prose.

The event will include a brief slide show and reading from the book. 25% of book sales proceeds will go to Access for Bikes Marin's local trail advocacy organization.
