Students in the Rock Band program at Marin School of the Arts are provided with unique opportunities to learn, create, and perform.

Selected by audition, MSA Rock Band members represent grade levels nine through twelve and a wide variety of musical experiences and interests. In one of the few public school rock programs that meets as a regular part of the school day, students receive instruction in instrumental techniques, music theory, songwriting, and how to successfully collaborate.

Alumni of the MSA Rock Bands have gone on to earn admission to prestigious music schools and achieve success as professional musicians.
