This holiday photography workshop is designed for kids 9-11 who want to explore how to use their photos to create unique handmade gifts.

Designed for creative thinkers, the emphasis will be on experimental techniques including photo weaving and image transfers on wood or tile. After a demonstration of these techniques, the kids will dive into these hands-on projects, and create beautiful photo artwork.

This art class will be fun and productive, with at least one creative gift to take home! We will provide a frame and matt to add the finishing touch to the gifts.

Students will upload photos to The Image Flow prior to the workshop so images can be printed out for use. Favorite subject matter have included flowers, pets and friends….but anything can work! Cell phone images can be used, but will need to be sent at a reasonable resolution (as large as can be sent) to insure printing quality. Details of these requirements will be emailed to students about a week prior to the workshop.

A materials list and “how to” handout will also be provided to further explore these photography craft ideas at home.
