CPC’s Concert on the Corner series presents The Forget Me Knots!
Join Charmian Stewart and Amanda Craver for a special concert of traditional Celtic, Scandinavian, and American tunes played on violin, cello, nykelharpa, and scordatura violin.
This is a free, family-friendly event.
Charmian Stewart is Concertmaster of the Mill Valley Philharmonic, a member of the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, co-director of the Ross Valley String Ensemble, and she performs with the Marin Symphony and California Symphony.
She has over 25 students in her San Anselmo Suzuki Strings studio.
Amanda Craver has been a member of many string quartets and chamber orchestras. She has played cello and violin with folk groups, including Fiddle Kids, Trapezium, Almost Seamus, and the Blue Bird Trio.
She has attended workshops and camps with the Chieftains, John Doyle, Liz Carroll, Natalie Haas, Alasdair Fraser, Jeremy Kittle, Mike Block, and Jeremy Harman. She now runs a private string studio and is a co-director of the Ross Valley String Ensemble.
