Celebrate Jewish Heritage Month with Saul Goodman's Klezmer Band at the Corte Madera Library!

Saul Goodman’s Klezmer Band performs music for weddings, parties, and all manner of concerts and celebrations around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

Their sound draws from their modern cosmopolitan surroundings, while being firmly rooted in traditional Jewish folk music tracing centuries back from Eastern Europe.

Their music brings people together and lifts their spirits and energies. They strive to keep it "all good man" wherever they perform.

For this May 4 performance, musicians, Mike Perlmutter, Ilana Sherer, Jonathan Kipp and Sean Tergis will present a variety of klezmer music and provide explanations about the music, its origins and functions.

They might even find a way to tie in this music from far far away and long long ago with a few Star Wars themes in honor of Star Wars Day. It is May 4th after all!
