As Marin Symphony prepares to embark on a live season of in-person performances for the first time since the pandemic, they recently posted a video from their first rehearsal in June 2021, with Mozart’s dramatic Overture to Don Giovanni.

COVID restrictions were still in place, and the musicians were spaced apart and wore masks (or wind instruments were separated from the rest of the ensemble by plexiglass), but they reveled at being able to make music together again. Music Director Alasdair Neale led them in an energetic and exciting performance with multiple cameras rolling and a professional quality recording.
