San Geronimo Valley Community Center

Our Mission

To foster healthy communities within the San Geronimo Valley and Nicasio by providing a dynamic center for locally based human services, arts and culture, education, health and wellness, and community building..

Since its founding in 1969, the Community Center has served the four villages of the San Geronimo Valley — Woodacre, San Geronimo, Forest Knolls and Lagunitas — and Nicasio, and the surrounding communities in western Marin County. The Center has become a focal point for programs in the arts, youth programming and human services, as well as community events and activities. Our visual, literary and performing arts programs provide outstanding cultural opportunities for all valley residents. Our human services, wellness programming, school readiness and school-linked services programs serve children and families, and adults both young and old.

The Center is funded by private donations from the local community, through fundraising events, and by private and public grants. When you give to the Community Center your dollars stay in the Valley. Your tax-deductible contribution will go a long way toward helping the Center continue its good work on behalf of our entire community.
