Welcome to your dashboard {username}!

Any registered user can submit information, including events, artists, venues, and organizations.

PLEASE NOTE: If you need to access an existing organization, venue, or artist profile or event listings, please contact: arts@marinarts.org so that we can associate your user account with those listings.

If this is your first time submitting an event, you will need to first create either an organization or venue profile–whichever best reflects your services and identity to the public. If your organization also represents a venue space, you may wish to complete both the “Organization” and “Venue” sections of this dashboard.

An EVENT is a performance, workshop, class, meeting, etc. for the general public to attend. It must have an arts or culture related component to be included (music, literature, history, performance, etc.).

We are covering online/streaming events and resources since the pandemic began.  For online listings, please use event category “Streaming Arts” and also select our “pseudo-venue” called “Streaming Arts” from the venue drop-down list.

To add an event, click “EVENTS” in the lefthand menu, and then click “EVENTS” again below in the sub-menu.

Location: Events must take place in Marin County

Lead Time: Events must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event start date. If we receive your event info less than two weeks in advance, we cannot guarantee that your event will be posted.

Public and Private Events: Both public and private/invitation-only events will be accepted. For the latter, please indicate that the event is private/invitation-only in the event description field.

Word Count: 250 words maximum. Your event link will take viewers to a fuller event description if so required.

Images: Upload a single image in .JPG or .PNG format ONLY and no larger than 1 megabyte with a required minimum of 400 x 400 pixels. Images must be SQUARE. For your event to be considered as a featured event, we must have an professional-quality promotional image to display with your listing.

Artist Profiles: Event listing criteria apply to individual artist profiles. Artists include visual, literary, film, and performance categories (music, stage, screen). Artists must have studios or reside in Marin County.

Editorial Review: Event listings and Artist/Venue/Organization profiles will be reviewed and approved by site administrator prior to posting.

All event and profile submissions will be vetted for format prior to publication. MarinArts reserves the right to edit graphic images and submissions for word count, grammar, style, and accuracy, as well as remove any listings that we believe are not suitable for the site.
