42 films, 10 countries, filmmaker conversations, DocLands Honors Conversation & DocTalk.
May 7-16, 2021.
Presented by the California Film Institute, DocLands Documentary Film Festival celebrates compelling stories and the provocative insights behind them.
This year’s festival will showcase the best in documentary film from across the world, highlighting festival sections:
- The Great Outdoors, films that transport us outside to truly appreciate, explore, and ultimately compel us to save and conserve our environment and the wilds of our one precious and precarious planet;
- Wonderlands, films that lift our spirits through stories of joy, wonder, and possibility; and
- Art of Impact, films that engage and spark action by sharing stories that open our eyes to the global community and its disparate cultures, politics, personal narratives, and biographies.
Join us both virtually and at the Smith Rafael Film Center, May 7-16, 2021. See festival guide for schedule details.
