Join Headlands for a conversation between Headlands Alumni Ann Hamilton and Rebecca Solnit
Shared meals have long been integral to the Headlands experience, and a key part of those meals: bread.
Headlands’ bread has been an iconic part of the organization reaching at least as far back as the installation of Ann Hamilton‘s (AIR ’91) Mess Hall, commissioned in 1989.
Join us in breaking bread with Hamilton and fellow Alumni Artist Rebecca Solnit (AIR ’89), and for a discussion on the early days of Headlands and Hamilton’s iconic commission. Prior to the conversation, we’ll begin by serving Headlands’ sourdough bread, straight from the hearth.
This event takes place in The Commons, our outdoor gathering space accessible to people with mobility aids. Masks are required indoors during this event, regardless of vaccination status.
