We have a stellar line up of funny folk to help us laugh out the old and giggle in the new. The evening features:
Rita Abrams, new & tried and true musical comedy with singers Kayla Gold and Sean O’Brien. Plus comedian Geoff Bolt and humorist, playwright and monologist, Margery Kreitman!
Two-time Emmy Award winner Rita Abrams and her Strawberry Point School kids captured hearts and airwaves worldwide with their chartbuster hit song, “Mill Valley.” But the story didn’t stop there. As a composer, lyricist and writer, Rita continues to garner honors for her stage musicals, children’s music and videos, pop and novelty songs, humor books, greeting cards, and custom shows.
Margery Kreitman is a playwright, humorist and Monologist She is the curator of 3GT’s LezWrites! – Bay Area lesbian writers’ short, funny, personal narratives about LGBT life. She has performed her pieces in at various Bay Area venues including The Marsh, The Exit, The New Conservatory Theater, Noh Space, The Magic Theater, Theater Rhino, Venue 9, The Garage, The Plush Room to name a few.
Geoff Bolt: Writer, Comedian, Genius has recorded more than 1000 voice overs for radio and TV commercials.
- was a garbage man in Switzerland.
- has ancestors who testified at the Salem Witch Trails in 1692.
- hopped a freight train.
- picked Bush beans and Marion berries, professionally.
- schmuckbaited many many people on many many episodes of Candid Camera… But never in a mean way.
- worked on tow boats in the Gulf of Mexico and still has Seamans Papers, in case things get weird in Marin.
