A Musical Evening w/ George Michalski and Kristina Kopriva

George Michalski is known as a gifted pianist, producer and composer – one of Streisand’s favorites – who’s played with dozens of heavyweight bands from the Allman Brothers to John Lee Hooker.

He is teaming up with recording artist Kristina Kopriva in his hometown for a long overdue evening of stellar music.

Joining the duo as emcee is none other than the King of Swing, the Daddy of Disco Bud E. Luv.

George Michalski: SF native– child prodigy– scholarship to SF conservatory of music at age 7 – learned the blues from Michael Bloomfield– was in the first white band signed to Motown – foxtrot– wrote and produced hits for Barbra Streisand- wrote and performed music for major movies such as ‘Eyes of Laura Mars’, ‘The Main Event’ and others– wrote ‘Rock n roll world’ for the kids from Fame tv show – played piano with Allman brothers – did a command performance for President Clinton — music director and songwriter for all 6 seasons of the hit CBS TV series, Nash Bridges — music director for Catherine Bach (Dukes of Hazzard), Don Johnson, and Eddie Fisher – and a proclaimed pinball wizard — currently resides in Marin county.

Kristina Koprina~Rehling: SF Native who studied Classical Violin and was one of the youngest member of the Marin Civic Light Opera Company recorded with George Michalski “Yosemite.” Kristina is also a Number 1 Billboard Recording Artist in the Main Stream Rock Division song: “Why I’m Here,” recorded with “Oleander” a band from Sacramento, CA. While she currently resides in Austin, TX, you can find Kristina at least once a month having lunch with Legendary pianist George Michalski at Il Davide Restaurant in San Rafael, CA.
