Annual Spring Plant Sale and More
* Saturday, May 4, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm

• 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
  Seed and Soul Club Plant Swap in the Picnic Grove – Share labeled, disease- and pest-free plants with other plant enthusiasts; you can bring cuttings, plants, pots and accessories to swap!You will get a number of stickers proportional to the items you bring, then use these stickers to bid on other plants. If there’s a plant you covet, up your chances of winning by putting more stickers on it.

  You walk away with plants you’ve won, and any leftovers are donated to charity. Registration required.

  Marin Art and Garden Center Annual Plant Sale in the South parking lot – Shop a selection of plants for your garden, including native milkweed to create Monarch butterfly habitat.Many of the plants have been propagated right here at MAGC, and you’ll have the expert advice of Garden Manager Michael Bogart and his team to help you make the right selection for your needs.

  All proceeds from the sale go right back to support the gardens!

  Marin Open Studios in The Studio – Visit 12 local artists who will be showing their work in our spacious gallery, The Studio.This is a once-a-year opportunity to meet the artists and perhaps find that special piece for your own space; choose from painintgs, photography, and other media.

  Participating artists this year are: Stuart Bass, Dana Christensen, Dorallen Davis, Norma Dimaulo, Nick Fain, Kirsten Gamble, Gigi Lambert, John Andrew Murphy, Stacey Smigrod, Joan Stracquadanio, M. Kathryn Thompson, and Rob Badger & Nita Winter.

  The Watering Can in the South parking lot – Packaged snacks and drinks will be available for purchase from our beloved mobile kiosk. You know you want a popsicle!
