Dueling Guitars: Craig Bartock & Kurt Huget

Craig Bartock is best known as the lead guitar player for Heart. But he has also worked and written charted singles by Blondie, Seal, Simply Red, Toni Braxton, and Madonna.

He has performed live with Sammy Hagar, Emmylou Harris, Carrie Underwood, Neil Young, Graham Nash, Shawn Colvin, Rufus Wainwright, Jackson Browne, and Wynonna Judd.

Kurt Huget is a mainstay in the Marin County music scene. He was bandleader for Songs of Woodstock and Songs of 1970 at pre-pandemic George’s.

For these two shows he recruited members of Doobie Brothers, Big Brother & the Holding Co, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Heart, and Cold Blood.

He has also performed, recorded, and/or written songs with members of Jefferson Starship, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Grateful Dead, Country Joe & the Fish, Huey Lewis & the News, Steve Miller Band, Rowan Brothers, Sons of Champlin, It’s A Beautiful Day, Sly & the Family Stone, Elvin Bishop, and the Youngbloods.
