Meet Katie Gurvin & Scott Hebel, founders of Hebel & Co, a family-owned and -operated company which produces premium, certified organic, handmade halva. As a family business, each halva they make begins with a sophisticated scientific process known as kvetching and kvelling. At the end of that process, a beautiful halva is born!

Let us deliver a collection of five (5) flavors of halva to your doorstep. Pour yourself a cup of coffee/tea or glass of champagne and join culinary host James Sokol for a discussion about the halva business and for a guided tasting.

While Katie & Scott love eating halva on its own, they also recommend spreading halva on bread – soft or toasted – baguette, bagel, crepe, tortilla, pancake, pita, or waffle, and they will also share several other ideas for using halva in baking – great ways to use leftovers!
