Musae continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary season with the concert And This Shall be For Music, featuring music that was written specifically for the choir as well as “signature” pieces that have become synonymous with the choir’s identity.
The pieces that were written specifically for Musae were inspired by the choir’s unique voices, character, and capabilities, and offer a fresh and invigorating perspectives on choral music.
Simultaneously, we pay homage to the “signature” pieces that have come to define the Musae musical experience and hold a special place in the hearts of our singers, encapsulating shared moments of joy, reflection, and transcendence.
Each piece on the program reflects Musae’s commitment to an innovative and generous approach to performance, and to fostering a deep connection with our audience.
The concert is a celebration not only the versatility and talent of Musae’s singers, but also the vibrant community that has grown around our music.
