Ane Carla Rovetta — a painter, renowned storyteller and winner of the Environmental Educator of the Year award — has been painting for the MALT Ranches & Rolling Hills Art Show for the past twenty-one years. Like the artisans of the European Renaissance, she believes art and science are kindred disciplines.

Join us for a lively and educational talk, including a demonstration of how to make your own, natural paints using milk, eggs, tree sap, and even soot. Remarkably permanent, and completely non-toxic these beautiful materials provide safe options for today’s green artworks

Attendees will also enjoy the Ranches & Rolling Hills art show and have the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind paintings in support of farmland protection.
