Photographs from 2003 to 2023 celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Marty Knapp Photo Gallery

Opening Reception & Artist Talk:

The gallery exhibition is a celebration of twenty years of photography created since the gallery opened in 2003.

Shown will be photographs made from 2003 – 2023, representing Marty’s transition from film to digital photography. Included will be many of his best known photographs as well as a number of never before shown images.

The exhibit includes both his traditional film-created images as well as his newer works created with the contemporary technology.

On Saturday, October 21 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm there will be an Opening Reception and an Artist Talk at 3:30 pm. During the talk, Marty will speak about his experience in transiting from film capture and silver printing to digital recording and pigment printing. He will tell how this change has ignited and expanded his creative vision. Questions and discussion will follow the talk.
