Winner of the Audience Award following its world premiere at the Mill Valley Film Festival, this intensely moving documentary centers on Dr. Grace Dammann, a revered HIV/AIDS physician who survived a near-fatal head-on collision during a routine commute across the Golden Gate Bridge.

After Dammann emerges from a coma with her cognitive abilities intact but her body shattered, her longtime partner Fu Schroeder cares for her and their disabled teenage daughter as the family embarks on a journey of loss, resilience and renewal.
