An Online Writing Event Workshop

Experience an exceptional memoir writing workshop with bestselling author Mary Karr & Albert Flynn DeSilver.

This workshop will include 1.5 hours of lecture and discussion time including writing prompts with Mary Karr as well as a 2 hour intensive morning writing session with Albert Flynn DeSilver.

Mary Karr is the bestselling author of three extraordinary memoirs; “The Liars Club” (1995) “Cherry” (2000) and “Lit” (2009). She is also the author of “The Art of Memoir”—one of the best books on writing, period.—and several books of poems including “Tropic of Squalor.” She is a professor of English Literature at Syracuse University.

Albert Flynn DeSilver‘s poetry has appeared in more than 100 literary journals worldwide including ZYZZYVA, VOLT, New American Writing, Hanging Loose, Jubilat, and many others. Albert is the author of several books of poems, the memoir “Beamish Boy,” (2012) and “Writing as a Path to Awakening,” from Sounds True (2017) He is the founder of the Brilliant Writer community and is currently working on a novel.
