Artstream: Ethan Okamura

The Artstream’s next appearance is Saturday, February 9^th at Marin Country Mart in Larkspur Landing.

The Artstream participates once a month in the Farmer’s Market from 9:00 – 2:00, featuring a different artist each month.

This month the featured artist is Ethan Okamura who has a very unique perspective in his ocean photography.  In fact, you could say that he’s turning the perspective on its head, literally.  With a new set of photographs called “Tidepool Perspectives”, he challenges our brains to look at tidepools and their reflections in a completely different way.  Come enjoy this new set of photographs along with other unique “moments in time” Ethan has captured of the ocean.

The owner of the Artstream, Melanie Victor-Smith, and Ethan Okamura are both long-time locals of Marin County and attended Tam High School together.  Both were able to return to Marin County and live in the homes where they grew up, Mill Valley and Bolinas respectively.  Through the magic of Facebook they reconnected a few years ago and created this distinctive and creative collaboration.
