The Bobby Young Project – Tribute to Wylie Trass

The Bobby Young Project is a group of musicians whose objective is to create music that touches the heart and soul.

Made up of musicians who have worked together in various bands for nearly 50 years, this Oakland based band officially formed in 1997.

Members have all played or recorded, together or individually, with John Lee Hooker, Zakiya Hooker, Michael Henderson, Maria Muldaur, The Natural Four, Norman Conners, John Handy, Xzibit, John Lee Hooker Jr., The Last Nova, E.C. Scott, and a long list of others.  (More detail on website.)

This evening’s show will pay tribute to their original vocalist, who passed about a month ago, Wylie Trass.
