Pulitzer Prize winning play that considers the vulnerability and resilience of the human race
James Dunn Theatre
Performing Arts Building
By Thornton Wilder
Directed by Molly Noble
Combining farce, burlesque, and satire (among other styles), Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize winning play follows the Antrobus family through the Ice Age, the Great Flood, and the ravages of war even as the theatre company producing the play struggles to keep the lead actress from walking off the stage!
At once quotidian and eternal, The Skin of Our Teeth is a timely, meta-theatrical romp (through time itself) asking us to consider the vulnerability and resilience of the human race.
