Mill Valley Recreation created a Halloween-adjacent event that built on the tradition of trick-or-treating – with a twist.

Trunk or Treat, a free family event in which businesses, local organizations and residents are invited to promote themselves by welcoming families to “trick-or-treat” from their decorated car trunks, has grown in scope every year.

Now it’s almost time for another go-round of businesses and organizations joining city departments to take over the Mill Valley Community Center parking lot and hand out candy, supplies and more.

There will also be plenty of activities and face-painting, among other festivities.

It’s all part of the Halloween at the Center event on Friday, October 27 in the Mill Valley Recreation parking lot.
