The Studio at Marin Art and Garden Center presents a new exhibition,“Cool Outside” – an exhibition of the work of Robert Royston and other visionary designers who were part of a mid-century design heritage whose buildings share the clean lines and simple materials that are hallmarks of the postwar modern style, which swept the West Coast in the 1950’s and 1960’s and has experienced a revival of interest in recent years.

Join us for this virtual event with JC Miller in conversation with Professor Reuben Rainey, and learn more about the quintessentially cool era of landscape design that flourished right in our own back yards.
