The gallery is open every day during the during THE BOX SHOW™, 11am – 5pm, with extended hours until 7pm on Saturdays.

In 1999, Gallery Route One gave wooden boxes to local artists to create anything they wished. Twenty years later, THE BOX SHOW™ is more popular than ever, annually drawing thousands of people to this major gallery event in the rural West Marin town of Point Reyes Station.

THE BOX SHOW™ is not only a remarkable opportunity for artists to flex their creativity in their chosen medium and beyond; it is also a fundraiser for Gallery Route One’s outreach programs: the Latino Photography Project, the Artists in the Schools Program, as well as the social justice exhibit series, With the Earth: Arts and the Environment.

There is something for everyone to enjoy at THE BOX SHOW™, a San Francisco Bay Area tradition. Come and experience the inventive and ingenious ways that art can be created when starting with a plain wooden box!

A regional landmark since 1983, Gallery Route One is an arts organization located in the town of Point Reyes Station, adjacent to the entry for Marin County’s Point Reyes National Seashore.
