Valley Car Show

The San Geronimo Valley Community Center proudly presents the First Annual Valley Car Show  at the San Geronimo Valley Commons. In addition to showcasing classic, vintage and art cars, the Valley Car Show will include live music from bands San Geronimo and Victoria George and the High Lonesome, a beer & wine garden, BBQ, shave ice, a family fun zone and more.

We are so excited Valley locals and favorites San Geronimo will be headlining the car show. The band San Geronimo hails from the rolling hills of West Marin. Described by the San Francisco Guardian as “Hard Charging Americana,” San Geronimo writes powerful, thought provoking songs that intertwine Classic Rock, Country and Psychedelic elements to form a unique brand of what critics are calling California Soul music. We want to thank Darren Nelson, guitar and vocals for SG, (aka Eyeball James) for creating the beautiful poster for this show!

San Geronimo will be joined by another local Marin band Victoria George and the High Lonesome. California Country is the gift Victoria George gives her growing legion of fans everyday. California Country happens when places like Northern California’s Marin County and country music meccas like Nashville collide.

The result in Victoria George’s case is a sound that’s part San Francisco folk, part Nash- ville/bluegrass twang, all heart and revelations and smarty-pants yarn-spinnin’. Victoria embraces her place in the lineage of folk artists primarily concerned with crafting songs to make people think and feel something meaningful. That’s the California Country way, and the Victoria George creed.

We encourage carpooling and alternate forms of transportation to the Car show as parking at the show is limited. Additional parking at Lagunitas School and Community Center and shuttle service from these lots to the car show will be available.
