Something Is Wrong with Adam Strauss
New comedy about love, loss, OCD, & how the only thing more painful than change is staying the same
Something Is Wrong with Adam Strauss to the Throckmorton
* Friday. April 12, 7:30 pm
Something is wrong. Is it Adam himself? Or the world we all live in? Join us for this sequel to Adam’s hit show, The Mushroom Cure!
Set in the concrete jungle of New York and the sylvan slopes of Mt. Tam, Something Is Wrong with Adam Strauss is a new comedy about love, loss, OCD, and how the only thing more painful than change is staying the same.
It’s also a sequel to Adam’s hit show The Mushroom Cure (“mines a great deal of laughter from disabling pain” –New York Times; “Arrestingly honest and howlingly funny” –Chicago Tribune). Adam’s OCD may be better, but something is still wrong.
Adam Strauss is a writer and performer based in NYC. He won the Leffe Craft Your Character Storytelling Competition and the New York Fringe Festival’s Overall Excellence Award for Solo Performance. He is also a stand-up comedian who performs throughout the US and the UK. Strauss received his BA in psychology from Brown University.
